Strengthening fire protection: leading fire suppression specialists become part of Safecto
Safecto announces the acquisition of UK-based fire protection specialists Nobel Fire Systems and Marine Fire Safety.

Safecto, a European group of expert companies delivering uncompromising safety solutions, announces the acquisition of UK-based fire protection specialists Nobel Fire Systems and Marine Fire Safety.
The transaction, effective August 5th, marks Safecto’s entry into advanced fire suppression and marine safety systems. Both companies bring decades of deep expertise, proven reliability, and a shared commitment to safeguarding critical operations and lives.
“Nobel Fire Systems and Marine Fire Safety combine deep expertise with decades of proven performance, built by the skilled people in both organisations,” says Maja Wassén, Transaction Manager at Safecto. “Partnering with these companies is an important step in Safecto’s journey, and I am excited to be joined by Ian, Ben, Mark and their teams.”
Samuel Kamryd, Project Manager at Safecto, adds:
“With the addition of Nobel and Marine, we are strengthening our capabilities and expertise in special risk environments. The combined years of experience these two companies bring will be invaluable to our ambition of becoming a top-tier provider of safety solutions for protecting people and assets in demanding environments.“
Ian Bartle, Managing Director of Nobel Fire Systems, comments:
“We are truly excited about the opportunities for growth that being part of Safecto will bring us. Being an independent part of a larger group focused on the safety market will open many doors and give us ready access to capital to finance servicing a wider customer base. As a company, and as individuals, we can continue to develop our recognised skills in designing custom fire suppression solutions.”
Mark Bresnahan, Managing Director of Marine Fire Safety, says:
“At Marine Fire Safety, our drive is to grow our business very rapidly in the coming years as new opportunities in our sector open up to us. Being part of a larger group but having the flexibility to operate independently will very much help us to achieve that growth. I am really looking forward to it.”
