Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, Lifehammer has earned global recognition for its human-centric design and dedication to “simple solutions for complex situations”. Its flagship Lifehammer Smart model recently received an iF Design Award for its compact, intuitive design and spring‑loaded safety mechanism.

Lifehammer has been acquired from founder Jan Franken, CEO Marcel Zegger, and Écart Invest. Throughout their long term ownership period, these shareholders have led a fantastic journey to drive the company's development and growth. This acquisition marks a strategic step in strengthening Lifehammer’s market position and future expansion.
